Our new no.16 has experience in the Football League, having later plied
his trade for Mansfield Town, Newport County, Grimsby Town.
A penalty specialist, Rose scored from the spot in April 2018 to confirm
Grimsby’s EFL survival against Chesterfield. More recently, Rose spent
two seasons with Notts County, where he helped the Magpies to the
National League Promotion Final in the 19/20 season.
Lewis Simper
Loanee Lewis Simper will stay with Town until the conclusion of the
21/22 campaign. Signing from Cambridge United, the highly rated
Lewis Simper midfielder looks to gain first team experience in a full-time environment
with Town. Most recently, the 20-year-old enjoyed a spell at National
League South side Concord Rangers, where he was involved in the FA
Trophy final at Wembley Stadium where the Essex outfit were narrowly
defeated by Harrogate Town. During his time with the Beach Boys,
Simper made 7 appearances, scoring twice.
Charlie Wakefield
The 23-year-old midfielder joins after a season competing at National
League level, spending the first half of the season at Wealdstone F.C,
later joining play-off bound Bromley.
Charlie Wakefield A Chelsea academy graduate, the quick midfielder spent eight years
within the Blues academy, before moving onto pastures new with
Coventry City, spending one and a half with the Sky Blues, before
venturing to Wealdstone last summer.
Toby Stephens
An academy graduate, Toby signed his first professional deal at the start
of the 20/21 season and made his debut on the bench against
Wrexham. The teenager is now a regular amongst the travelling squad.
Jack Robinson
Jack Robinson A versatile defender, Robinson can play both left back, and left-sided
centre half, providing much needed competition to the defensive ranks.
Dan Moss
Moss, who signs until November 3 is also a defender of a versatile
rd
mould. Mainly operating on the right side of the defence, the Millwall
youngster has also found himself dispatched in the midfield and central
defence.
Adi Yussuf
An experienced forward, Yussuf has enjoyed spells in the Football
Ali Yussuf League and possesses a prolific record at National League level,
especially with Solihull Moors where he netted 26 goals across two
seasons with the club.
Last season, whilst contracted to Blackpool, the 29-year-old spent the
season on loan in the National League with both Wrexham &
Chesterfield, finding the back of the net on eight occasions.
Josh Staunton
Josh Staunton became Darren Sarll’s first summer signing of the
2020/21 transfer window.
The versatile man has been known to play in both in the defence and in
Josh Staunton holding midfield roles.
