The County Leagues...
Gloucestershire League
League leaders Longwell Green's early winning streak was brought to a halt as they were held to a
1-1 draw by Olveston Utd. Kate Michael had given Longwell a sixth minute lead, with Olveston
equalising just before half time through Lauren White, the first time Longwell have conceded in the
league this season. Pucklechurch Sports marched into second place on the back of a 7-0 victory
over Gloucester City. Poppy Coles, Tammi Haynes and Adele Hooper all netted twice for
Pucklechurch, with Charlotte Davies adding the other goal. Isabelle Owen and Leonie Gough were on
target as Bishop's Cleeve won 2-1 against Bristol & West, who replied through Becky Billing.
With Bristol Rovers Development not having a game, Tuffley Rovers took the
opportunity to replace them as Division Two leaders with a 4-1 victory over City of Gloucester.
Emily Hawley was on target twice for Tuffley along with Ella Nasser and Beth Parker. Dursley Town
have moved into second after beating Ellwood Ladies 6-0, Morgan Tayler leading the scoring with
five goals for the second successive match, and Michelle Watson adding the other.
Bristol Ladies Union Development have opened up a lead of three points in Division
Three following their 2-1 win away to Kingswood Women in which Mara Wuelfing and Polly
Garton scored, with Paige Todd replying. Second placed Olveston Utd Res were beaten 4-0 by
Whitchurch & Bristol, for whom Faith Constable hit a hat-trick and Ilarna Nche the other. Kelly
Adams, Zinovia Apospori, Anna Howes and Kyra Sayce all netted twice for Winchcombe Town in
their 9-1 success at Tewkesbury Town, with Sarah Hibbert completing the tally. Bradley Stoke
scored eight times without reply past Southmead Community Sport, courtesy of a Hollie Shone
hat-trick, Emily Jacklin (2), Natalie Lewis (2) and Marissia James. Downend Flyers Res meanwhile
chalked up their first victory of the season, 4-1 away to Mitcheldean SC, with Michaela Adams
scoring all four goals.
Greater London League
League leaders Clapton Community scored eleven times without reply past Enfield Town 3rds,
Emily Link scoring six times along with Maria Mendonca (2), Marta Casanovas, Marta Perez and ciara
Robinson. Second placed Bromley FC Ladies drew 1-1 with Sutton Utd U23, Sophia Demetriou
scoring for Sutton and Charlotte Lee replying. Sinead Walsh was on target four times, with Aimee
Shaw and Camilla Sameur adding the others, as third placed Headstone Manor defeated Walton
Casuals Res 6-0, meanwhile Dieda Fennema hit a hat-trick and Rosalind Duignan-Pearson also got
on the scoresheet for Comets in their 4-4 draw against Edgware Town, whose scorers were
Tobby-Eniola Omotunde (2), Polina Avramova and Monique Mitchell-Marshall. Farida Dankaro (2),
Rachel Anderson, Lily Jones and Abby Webster accounted for the goals as Islington Borough won
for the first time, 5-2 against Regents Park Rangers whose replies came from Natalia Debek and
Georgiana Wagemann.
In Division One North, Harriet Stiles-Winfield led the scoring with a hat-trick as Queen's
Park Rangers Res crushed East London Ladies 10-1 to stay one point behind leaders Brentford
B. Amelia Halawi (2), Jessica Francis-Weir (2), Ruby Norman, Kayleigh Richardson-Taylor and
Jessica Welch chipped in with the other goals. Actonians Ladies Res meanwhile won 6-0 against
Tower Hamlets thanks to a Kayleigh Peters hat-trick, Sinthujah Sooriyakumar and Shadia
Edwards-Dashti. Heather McIntosh (2), Tessa Craver, Natalie Dodd and Ellen Salter were all on the
scoresheet for Camden Town Blues in their 5-0 victory over Luton Town Res and Bethany Lark
scored the only goal for New London Lionesses Development in their 1-0 victory over Hackney
Res.
Ashford Town (Middlesex) B have taken over at the top in Division One South after
Gemma Cottrell (2), Rachel Marlow (2) and Geraldine Burgess gave them a 5-2 win away to Balham
Panthers. Previous leaders UCL Academicals were beaten 4-2 by South London Laces, for
whom Josie Alderman netted twice along with Emily Hill and Amy Lake. Richmond & Kew ran out
5-0 winners over Tooting Bec, Charlotte Close scoring four and Maddie Andrew the other, and a
double from Jessica Amory earned Sporting Duet a 2-1 victory over South London Women.
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
Harworth Colliery were 3-0 winners over Handsworth in Division One thanks to goals from
Jasmine Blunt, Gabi Mariott and Sophie Thompson. AFC Bentley have drawn all three of their
games so far, Gemma Harte on target away to Rotherham Utd Whitehill whose goal came from
Abi Shepherd. Becky Hill netted both, one a penalty, for Dronfield Town, but it was not enough at
