Good afternoon, I would like to offer a
warm welcome to you all, particularly to
the officials, players and supporters of

Welton Rovers, you enjoy your day with
us and have a safe trip home.
This season is only 22 days old but today
th
is our 7 game, including the FA Cup
tie, and we are on 7 points. If you are
looking for signs of improvement, last
season it took us 62 days (2 nd Oct) to match that total, unfortunately we were
th
still on 7 pts until Dec. 4 .
Welton Rovers had a very good 2021/22 season, in a very competitive Division
st
1, and became the 1 team in the Western league to achieve promotion via the
play offs.
Last week we welcomed promotion hopefuls Mousehole, more than matched
them in a compelling 0-0 draw. Tuesday we visited a much changed Bitton side,
compared to last season. A good performance from our lads was rewarded with
another last minute winner from Conner (we think!) after a left foot screamer
from Miles gave us the lead.
If any is interested in sponsoring a player @£75, please speak to me or the 1 st
team management The refurbishment of the men’s toilets is nearly finished,
they are open and usable today. We are waiting on a lick of paint and flooring
(when Justin Walker gets back from holidays).
We are looking for a few more volunteers around the club, if you know anyone
who can help please send them my way.
