Beech’s Bench Talk

Good afternoon and welcome to the
Lancer Scott stadium.

Since my last article, we have put a
nice little 3 game unbeaten run
together and will be looking to extend
that this afternoon against newly
promoted Welton Rovers. It started at
Clevedon where we showed good
character to come from a goal behind to
go on and win 3-2 with goals from Will
Solari, Miles Hardidge and Joe
Cattermole.

Then next up was promotion hopefuls
Mousehole who are a very good side and if I’m honest we could of
walked away with 3 points rather than one if we would have taken
our chances! Then Tuesday night we came away with all 3 points
away from home against Bitton with a 2-1 win with goals from
Miles Hardidge and Conner Saunders.

We have a lot of competition for places and have a real
togetherness this season. I feel we have made good use of the new
rule of allowing 5 substitutions, particularly in the heat we have
experienced in the last week. The players who have come on, have
all made an impact which isn’t always the case at any level of
football, they are also good enough to start, and they all believe
they should start! Which is a good thing
