From the dugout
Afternoon All.
I hope you’re all well and like us looking
forward to some football.
It’s been disappointing with recent fixtures
being off but can’t be helped with these storms!
Which leads into a heavy load of fixtures.
The staff and I have been locking horns to come
up with what’s and where’s to keep everyone
fit, fresh and most of all happy.
We have come up with a way and the players
need to understand it isn’t gonna be 11 players
that will get us to where we want to be it will
be more like 19!
Some games some players will be left out/
rested and that’s just how it has to be! The Gaffer, Stuart Jones
We’re very fortunate to have a good squad. On
that note we had another look at Jordan and a look at Sam Hemmings against
Cheddar. Both doing well and reminding me that I can call upon them!
For them to come on and do well against last season’s runners up speaks
volumes for the club as we’re all pushing forward! Some other positives is
Lewis (Coombes) coming back and doing well, Tomo (Sam) and Shez (Sol)
training again.
Sam had a dodgy ‘hammi’ and they can be a pain in the ass ‘mind the pun’. Shez
has had an up and down time with that ankle injury he had early on in the
season and struggled with availability.
Cheddar was a great game. I enjoyed that. We showed some positive signs and
good experience in knowing when and where to play! Charlie Rich popping up
with more assists. Also Big Tom convincing us he’s a fox in the box.
Lebeq are today’s visitors this is gonna be tough. Again we have to meet fire
with fire.
‘Earn the right to play’ which means win individual battles. Work hard. Then
weather the storm and play. That’s half the plan anyway but we know this is a
tough challenge, again!
On another note massive thanks to Ashley Pope for doing our speakers today!
Enjoy the tunes
Many thanks
Stu Jones
