Manager’s Viewpoint
A real tough one last week in the league cup.
A very good win over last seasons league runners up Wells City Res’s.
Not the best of first halves. But we heavily rotated the team that
started that fixture.
For how frustrating the 1st half was , the second half was quality !!
We scored the early opener. Wells equalised literally minutes later.
And then we started dominating the half.
The team showed great depth. And in and around the goal that
eventually won the game , we created some fantastic chances.
Today we welcome Wrington Redhill to BBS Park.
We played them in the 2022 pre season. And it was a very tough
match. Despite them not having a great start to the league - it would
be naive to underestimate Wrington. Any team can get themselves
promoted from such a tough division as the Somerset County Division
1 deserves total respect.
