Things remain close in Division One North and Dulwich Hamlet Res are up into
second place after drawing 2-2 with Hackney. A victory would have seen Dulwich go level on
points with leaders Sutton Utd but despite goals from Catherine Campbell and Izzy
Theodoreson, they are two points off the pace. Katie Riddington netted twice and Rebecca
Lovelace the other as Watford Development won 3-2 away to Walton Casuals, whose
       replies came from Tiffany Skinner.
In Division One South, Hastings Utd secured the runners-up spot when scoring six
times without reply past Meridian Ladies. Sian Heather netted a brace for Hastings along
with Naomi Corrigan, Mia Hyland, Sophie Reed and Rebecca Relf.
Herne Bay lifted the League Trophy and denied AFC Acorns the double with a
penalty shootout victory in the Final at Maidstone, after the game had finished in a 1-1 draw.
Acorns got off to a good start and took a 12th minute lead through a Lauren Tyler penalty, but
a good spell from Bay ended with captain Lauren Williams equalising just before half time. The
second half could not produce a winner and Bay goalkeeper Sarah Cooper was her side's
heroine with a vital save in the resulting shootout, meaning that Kate Foster's kick was the
       winner.
       North East League
League leaders York City were beaten for the first time this season, 3-1 by Ossett Utd.
Jordan Cheetham netted twice and Debbie Hastings the other for Ossett, whilst York's
consolation came from Sophie Tinson. York still have matters in their hands, with a five point
lead, whilst Ossett are now second, replacing Harrogate Town who also lost, 2-1 to South
Shields. Eve Gatens and Caitlin Bates scored the goals to give South Shields the points, after
Lindsey Whitton had given Harrogate the lead. Allison Ferris (2) and Nicole O'Hara were on
target as Sunderland West End won 3-0 at Redcar Town, to close to within two points of
their opponents, whilst Wallsend Boys Club won 5-2 away to Hartlepool Utd thanks to a
Jessica Ellison brace, Eleanor Regan, Hannah Travis and Molly Turnbull.
Blyth Town continue to dominate matters in the Northern Division, going six
points clear after Steph Ord (2), Katie Glendening and Jessica Hennessy earned them a 4-0
success away to Washington Association. Third placed Boro Rangers meanwhile
defeated Prudhoe Town 9-1, Jade Featherstone and Abigail Phillips each scoring twice along
with Lou Brown, Jessica Thomas, Sophie Hill, Jade Danks and Eve Hopson. Wallsend BC
Res matched their first team in winning 5-2, against Spennymoor Town with goals from
Rachel Hepple (2), Samantha Deverdics (2) and Hannah Gosnold, and Bishop Auckland
edged out West Allotment Celtic by the odd goal in seven, courtesy of a goal apiece from
Vikki Ryder, Natasha Napier, Chloe Geary and Katie Smith.
In the Southern Division, runners-up Altofts Ladies rounded off their season by
winning 5-0 at Millmoor Juniors Ladies. Nadine Bates was on target twice along with
Nicola Smith, Emma Dobson and Lauren Henshaw.
       North West League
Fleetwood Town Wrens can still take a top three place in the Premier Division, and they
enhanced those hopes on Sunday with a 1-0 win against West Didsbury & Chorlton, to take
themselves level on points with Crewe Alexandra who are third. It has not been the best of
seasons for Mossley Hill but they have ended it on a winning note, thanks to a 1-0 success
       away to Cheadle Town Stingers.
In Division One North, Haslingden kept their hopes of the runners-up spot alive as
they defeated Preston North End 3-1. Despite the defeat, Preston are now certain of a top
four finish after Penrith AFC's match with Penwortham Town finished goalless.
Curzon Ashton are confirmed as Champions of Division One South, with one
match left to play, after Chester FC Women were beaten 2-1 by Runcorn Linnets. Chester
will have to settle for second place, whilst Warrington Wolves Foundation and
Northwich Vixens will battle it out to complete the top three. Didsbury Ladies and
