Handsworth Development took another stride towards finishing champions in
Division Two as they recorded their biggest win of the season, 12-2 at home to Sheffield City,
the visitors having the distinction of being the first away side to score past Handsworth this
season. Handsworth’s round dozen comprised four doubles - by Holly Jenkins, Katie Jepson,
Jade Richards and Eden Wilcox - and four singles, by Evie Flint, Emma Rowland, Caitlan
Tattersall and Liv Winstanley. That win gives Handsworth maximum points from eleven
games. Kiveton Park are second on goal difference having played 15 of their 20 games and
their single goal win at Sheffield Utd Community Foundation Res, courtesy of Mikayla
Harper, put them eight points clear of Socrates who have three games in hand. Socrates left
it late, but Claire Attrill’s leveller earned them a point at home to Sheffield Wednesday
