P. 3

Good evening all.
This evening we extend a very warm welcome to the
players, officials and supporters of Exmouth Town for what
will be a fiercely contested FA Cup tie. We also welcome
tonight’s match officials, referee Ollie Taylor and his
assistants, Mason Bean and Andy Davis.

I can't tell you all how great it feels to be able to welcome you all back to
the AJN Stadium. The extraordinary events of the past six months have
presented a massive test of our resolve as a club, as it has of course for
others. The work carried out behind the scenes by our back room team to
ensure that we have been able to meet the many challenges has been
simply magnificent. There isn't the time or space in this edition to talk about
the efforts of individuals, but as a team I can't thank you all enough for your
amazing contributions. We will emerge as a much stronger unit as a result
       of our experience.

A significant development over this time has been the foundation of the K's
2012 Club. This represents an amazing success story bringing a significant
number of new sponsors to the Club, which working along side our main
sponsor, Polar Bear Windows, gives us much greater financial stability and
an opportunity to move this club forward. Again, time and space does not
permit me to go into detail, this will be more than evident in future
publications , on our website and other social media platforms, but I would
like to thank all of our sponsors for your unbelievable support.

On the pitch, can I first formally welcome Josh Bruton to the first team
coaching staff, having made such a great job of managing our reserves over
the past few years. It is great to see opportunities given to individuals
within the club. I also take this opportunity to wish Matt Osborne and Gary
Fisher all the best in their new roles with the reserves and the A Team
respectively. I have been one of the ones lucky enough to watch the firsts
in the friendlies we have played and am excited with the prospect of the
coming season. John has made some very significant signings which will
strengthen us considerably and I welcome them to the club.

Enjoy this evening’s game, a lot of work has gone into creating a Covid-safe
environment , I would ask you to follow the guidelines, act responsibly and
       above all stay safe.
       Thank you.

       Adrian Cole
       Club Chairman
