consolation came from Martha Slocombe. Toni Blenkinsopp and Chloe Fuller meanwhile scored
the goals for Stockwood Wanderers as they shared a 2-2 draw with Middlezoy Rovers.
Saltash Utd have taken over at the top of the Western Division after winning a high
scoring affair 5-4 against Sticker Women. Jade Bryan, Nicola Champion, Rachel Finch, Ella
Stevens and Yasmin Franklin all scored a goal apiece for the Ashes, whilst Tori Marks (2) and
Gracie Davies replied along with an own goal. Sam Drewery was on target five times, Elizabeth
Overton weighed in with a hat-trick and Megan Boulton added the other goal as Marine
Academy Plymouth ran out 9-2 winners over Budleigh Salterton, whose consolations came
from Ashleigh Brown and Maisie Smith.
Southern Region League
Ascot Utd have got off to a good start in the Premier Division and they occupy top spot after they
defeated Abingdon Town 6-1. Nicole Brown and Sarah Leonard were on target twice for Ascot
along with Dominique Carrington and Tiffany Skinner. Abingdon Utd meanwhile bounced back
from their opening defeat to beat Oxford City 9-1, four of the goals coming from Lindsay Pinker.
Lauren May weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Molly Lygo-Jackson, Sahara
Osborne-Ricketts and Amy Pipe. Eastleigh are off the mark as a late goal from Danielle O'Leary
earned them a 1-0 win away to Wycombe Wanderers.
Kidlington have a lead of four points in Division One North, following their 4-2 success
away to Carterton Ladies. Elisha Cox netted twice along with Abigail Haynes and an own goal,
with Samantha Wadey-Smith bagging a brace in reply. Ellie Ludgate-Williams (2) and Sasha
Smith were on the scoresheet as Penn & Tyler's Green won 3-0 at Caversham Utd.
Lucy Cook and Deanna Taylor scored the goals as Division One South leaders Badshot
Lea defeated AFC Stoneham 2-1 to stay three points in front from Woking Ladies, who moved
into second place with a 4-2 victory over Selsey Women Development. Kaitlin Howard hit a
hat-trick for Woking and Trudy Bryan-Kerr added the other, with Rebecca Johnson and Natalie
Morey replying. Gabriella Hobday and Elinor Williams were the markswomen for Chichester
City as they won for the first time, 2-0 against Abbey Rangers.
West Midlands League
Worcester City preserved their two point lead in the Premier Division with a 4-0 victory away
to Redditch Utd. Lucy Boswell, Cerys Dolloway, Beth Dutton and Jessica Fassnidge all scored a
goal apiece for Worcester. Shrewsbury Town are now in second after doubles from Madison
Jones and Shannon McShane took them to a 4-0 success at Burton Albion. Kidderminster
Harriers attracted a four figure crowd at Aggborough but it was visitors Sutton Coldfield
Town who ran out 4-1 winners on the day, Phoebe Hopwood netting twice along with Carly
Aldred and Chloe Finn, whilst Macy Fox replied for Harriers. Courtney Dilger, Holly Meehan,
Elisha Davis and Lois Brindley were on the scoresheet for Lichfield City as they edged out
Solihull Sporting 4-3, Lauren Smith (2) and Holly Ellison responding.
Walsall Ladies remain on top of Division One North after Saanya Najib and Elle Tandy
gave them a 2-1 victory against Wyrley Ladies. They head the table by a single point with
Shifnal Town in second place following their 5-1 win against AFC Telford Utd in which
Rebecca-Lee Bown netted four times, with Jenna Boddison also on target. Coventry City are also
one point off the pace after beating City of Stoke 3-2 with goals from Tara Doherty, Hollie Taylor
and Hannah Davis. Taylor Oakley and Chloe Worthington were on the scoresheet for Port Vale
in their 2-2 draw with Walsall Wood, who netted through Emma Baggott and Freya Green,
whilst Ellesse Birkett, Drew Harris, Jessica Nash and Holly Talbot fired Darlaston Town to a 4-1
victory over Lichfield City Res.
Jessica Barlow scored the only goal of the game for Division One South leaders Knowle in
their 1-0 win against Sedgley & Gornal Utd, which sees them open up a lead of two points.
Second placed Long Itchington drew 1-1 with Rugby Town, with goals from Ellie White and
Hannah Morris respectively. Coventry Sphinx complete the top three after Anaya O'Brien (2),
Angel Scandrett (2), Kirsty Farnsworth, Danielle Jackson and Christabel Matewe saw them to a
7-1 victory away to Droitwich Spa. Eliza Hickey and Katie Edwards gave Kingfisher a 2-1 win
at Bwedley Town and Worcester City Development defeated Rugby Borough 2-1 thanks
to Karli Smith and Jenna Lepore.
