THE SQUAD YATE TOWN FC
Manager Peter Beadle
‘Beads’ joins Yate Town with an impressive CV. As a player he can list clubs such as Tottenham
Hotspur, AFC Bournemouth, Watford, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers. He went into
management with Taunton Town, Newport County and Clevedon before taking charge at
Hereford, guiding them to the National League North via the Midland League and Southern
League in which he won three consecutive league titles becoming the first Non-League side
to do so.
Assistant Manager Stuart Fleetwood
After a few years as a player coach “Fleets” has been recognised for the contribution he made
to last season’s success and appointed Assistant Manager. With a relatively new squad to
develop his experience as a coach, underpinned by a career in the full time game with Cardiff
City, Hereford, Forest Green Rovers and Charlton amongst others, will prove invaluable.
Dan Gillespie First Team Coach
Gilly is in his second season with the club having joined before the pre season of 2021/22. A
UEFA B licence holder and has previously managed at Tytherington Rocks and held coaching
roles at Tuffley Rovers. With a year of Southern League coaching under his belt Gilly is looking
forward to working with the new management team and improving the players individually
and collectively.
Jonny Evans Sport Therapist
Having gained his degree in Sports therapy at the University of Gloucestershire, Jonny joined
Hereford FC during a highly successful period. Upon leaving Hereford Jonny joined
Cirencester Town before opting to link up again with manager Peter Beadle at Yate Town. A
meticulous therapist with exceptional attention to detail, Jonny is a much respected and vital
member of the back room team with his unrivalled professional approach.
Kit Manager Gary Webb
This is Gary’s third year as 1st team Kit man. Widely known in the local football community
he represented Yate Town just under 40 years ago, he has been an active referee for the last
15 years, in addition to coaching experience with Chipping Sodbury FC.
Khari Allen - Full Back
Khari was most recently on the books of Bristol City where he was a member of their under
23 side. Khari gained valuable Southern League experience on loan at last season’s eventual
champions Taunton Town. An energetic full back, with pace and quality in the final third.
Jack Ball - Striker
Jack is a technical forward who's most recently been with Paulton Rovers where his good
scoring record has seen him move up a division to the Southern League Premier this season
with Yate Town. A good talker on the field Jack will bring experience to a young squad.
Dennis Digie - Central Midfield
Another Hartpury graduate joining this season is silky midfielder Dennis Digie. Dennis has
previous experience at step 3 having turned out for Redditch United last Season after
featuring for Kidderminster Harriers youth setup.
