Good Afternoon and welcome to the Lancer Scott
stadium,

We welcome Sherborne Town today who are a decent
side and we will have to be at our best if we are to get
anything from the game. As was the case when we
visited them 5 weeks ago, Joe Banks scored after 12
seconds, probably the fastest goal in the club’s history.
Goals from Substitutes Miles and Will clinched a 3-2 win
for us.

Since my last write up we have suffered 2 defeats, at home to Shepton Mallet
where I believe we should of came away with at least a draw but credit to Town,
they held on with us have a real good go. Next up we travelled down to Cornwall
to face Falmouth Town side, we had a very depleted side of 13 players but credit
to the lads they dug in but again just didn’t have that bit of luck and again, I
believe we deserved at least a draw after hitting the woodwork twice late on but
came away losing 2-1.

Availability is becoming a bit of a concern again with players missing games
through other commitments and it’s something we can’t keep doing if we are
going to do well in this league!!
