Stockport County defeated Altofts Ladies 3-1 thanks to Emily Bradshaw, Maria
Figueiredo and Kenzie Bentley and now face Penrith AFC Ladies, who defeated Bolton
Wanderers on penalties after the game finished level at 2-2. FC United of Manchester came
away from West Didsbury & Chorlton with a 3-1 victory and their next opponents will be
Merseyrail Ladies, who ended the run of Brighouse Sports by beating them 7-0. The West
Riding League side had achieved one of the best results of the previous round but an Erin Slade
double, plus Courtney Jevons, Charlotte Cloy, Ellise Newby, Eleanor Lambert and Emma Lysons
saw Merseyrail comfortably home.
Doncaster Rovers Belles won 7-1 against Leicester City Ladies, Sophie Scargill
hitting a hat-trick with Nadia Khan, Otandeak Laki, Olivia Harness and Eliza Bedford accounting
for the others and their reward is a plum tie against Huddersfield Town. Leeds Utd came
through a potentially tricky tie away to North East League high fliers South Shields with a 5-1
victory, courtesy of a goal apiece from Bridie Hannon, Sarah Danby, Danielle Whitham, Aaliyah
Nolan and Olivia Smart. In the next round, the boot will be on the other foot as Leeds will take on
Brighouse Town in what is sure to be one of the most intriguing ties.
Darwen FC Women were 3-1 winners over Bury AFC Women and will now be up
against National League opponents in the form of Barnsley. Jodie Michalska netted twice along
with Courteney Csomor, Rebecca Fevers, Nat Shaw and Holly Findlay as Barnsley won 6-0 away
to Blackburn Community SC. Five players - Katie Barker, Daisy Burt, Ellie Dobson, Georgia
Gibson and Charlotte Potts - all scored twice for Newcastle Utd against Gateshead
Rutherford Ladies, with Lauren Robson and Amy Hargrave also on the scoresheet. Newcastle
now travel to play Hull City, who were 5-1 winners away to Wakefield.
Cheadle Town Stingers came through a penalty shootout against Chester-le-Street
Town following a 1-1 draw and they will play York City, who kept up their good form by beating
Ponteland Utd 3-1, Alice Hughes scoring twice and Jess Holder adding the other. Former semi
finalists Tranmere Rovers also progressed on penalties, beating Accrington Stanley after the
sides had shared six goals and they have been paired with Burnley FC Women. Chloe Mark and
Chloe Wilkinson scored the goals to earn Wallsend Boys Club a 2-0 success against Morley
Town and they will be at home to Redcar Town. Mary Corbin (2) and Ellie Yeoman accounted
for the goals as Redcar won 3-2 against Ossett Utd, who replied through Danielle Sidebottom and
Chelsea Schofield.
Worcester City were 2-1 winners over Solihull Sporting in a clash between two West
Midlands League high fliers and they now take on Coventry Sphinx, who won 3-1 away to
Redditch Borough. Crewe Alexandra meanwhile scored eight times without reply past
Sherwood FC Women and have been rewarded with a trip to West Bromwich Albion, whilst
Sedgley & Gornal Utd, who won 2-1 at Basford Utd, must take on Solihull Moors ended the
run of Arnold Eagles by scoring seven times without reply. Zoe Creaney, Rebecca Knight and
Lyndsey Ross-Baker each scored twice and the other came from Cheyanne Jarvis.
Sporting Khalsa scored all three in the second half as they defeated Leek Town 3-0.
Becky Hall opened the scoring just before the hour mark and they went on to crown the win with
two further goals from Isabelle Austin-Short. Khalsa will now be at home to Boldmere St
Michaels. Jessica Driscoll, Tara Kirk and Cassie Steward all scored a goal apiece as
Peterborough Utd defeated Mansfield Town 3-1 and they will host Stourbridge who won
11-0 against Newcastle Town in their tie, which was played on Friday night. Niamh Deasy was
on target four times and Lyndsey Glover bagged a hat-trick, whilst Alex Nicklin, Millie Rogers, Lili
Beth Bown and Amber Lawrence also got on the scoresheet.
Asfordby Amateurs were 2-0 winners over Skegness Town and will play either
Burton Albion or Lichfield City, whilst Sutton Coldfield Town will be up against the victors
from the postponed tie between Long Eaton Utd and Leafield Athletic after a penalty shootout
win against Shifnal Town following a 1-1 draw. Sheffield FC won 3-1 away to Lincoln City and
now travel to Loughborough Lightning.
Dronfield Town beat Kettering Town 1-0 and will go to either Lincoln Utd or
Northampton Town, whilst Lye Town now take on the winners of Wem Town's game against
Chesterfield after beating Knowle 6-0. Shrewsbury Town scored eight times without reply
