one of only two clubs in the Combined Counties League to have made it to
the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. It has been an impressive run
from the Surrey outfit, who have beaten CB Hounslow United, Deal Town,
Sevenoaks Town (thanks to a 4-3 thriller in a replay) and most impressively,
Phoenix Sports, to reach this stage.
October promises to be an incredibly busy month for Yate. Today’s fixture
is the first of three consecutive home games – on Tuesday 5 (7.45pm KO)

the Bluebells host Cirencester Town in the CSS League Challenge Cup. After

that it’s back to league action against Chesham United on Saturday 9 (3pm
KO).
The following week provides back-to-back away trips to Weston-Super-
Mare (Tuesday 12 , 7.45pm KO) and Hartley Wintney (Saturday 16 , 3pm

KO). A supporters’ coach will run for the latter of those games, and a list
will be made available to put your name down for if you wish to travel to
North Hampshire and support the lads. All of your support home and away
is massively appreciated.
