Southampton FC Women narrowed the gap on Ipswich Town to four points on
Wednesday night, thanks to a 3-0 win away to Crawley Wasps. Alisha Ware put the
Saints in front just before half time and they wrapped up the win after the break thanks to
       Sophia Pharoah and Georgie Freeland.
       Division One North
Newcastle Utd stay four points clear at the top after a 2-1 win against in-form Bradford
City. Georgia Gibson and Beth Guy netted the goals for Newcastle, with Hope Knight
       replying.
Liverpool Feds remain on Newcastle's heels, and still possess two games in hand,
following their 2-0 success away to Barnsley. Beth Donoghue fired the Feds in front on
the hour mark and Paige Cole sealed the points with the second goal in injury time.
Leeds Utd made sure of staying in third by winning 2-1 at Norton & Stockton
Ancients. Abbie Brown and Kanisha Underdown scored the goals for Leeds whilst
Norton's consolation came from Bianca Owens.
The result keeps Leeds one point ahead of Durham Cestria who won 4-0 against
North East rivals Chester-le-Street Town. Grace Ayre, Sarah Burn, Ellen Turnbull and
Jennifer Knowles all scored a goal apiece for the Wildcats.
Alnwick Town picked up only their second point of the season when they shared
six goals with Chorley, who drew a league match for the eighth time this season. Emma
Hickson, Laura Walker and Beth Worth were all on target for Chorley whilst Alnwick
scored through a Lucy McConnell double and Katie Ellwood.
       Division One Midlands
Boldmere St Michaels are one point away from winning the title after they battled out
a 1-1 draw with third placed Lincoln City. Jessica Lundie was on target for the Mikes,
with Lincoln's goal coming from Lauryn Wilcock.
A win would actually have seen Boldmere crowned as Champions as second placed
Doncaster Rovers Belles were held to a goalless draw by Peterborough Utd. The
Belles may have to settle for the runners-up and are three points ahead of Lincoln.
Leek Town are in the running for a possible top four place in their first season in
the league, following their 2-1 victory away to Leafield Athletic. Cassie Hyde and Katie
Maya scored the goals for Leek, with Leafield replying through Daisy-Mai Clements.
Solihull Moors follow on after winning 1-0 at Bedworth Utd. Zoe Creaney
scored the only goal of the game for Solihull, who remain on course for a top half finish.
Sporting Khalsa completed a good day for visiting teams when they beat
Burton Albion 2-1. Laura McQuilkin and Julie Stirrup netted the goals to give Khalsa the
points, whilst Hajrah Mahmood scored a consolation for Burton.
       Division One South East
Hashtag Utd stay five points clear at the top following their 4-0 victory away to
Stevenage Women. Malika Apindia Gille, Emma Samways, Nikita Whinnett and Kelly
Wealthall scored the goals for the Tags.
Billericay Town still have matters in their hands as they have played two games
less than Hashtag, they also won 4-0 against Cambridge Utd. Zoe Rushen netted two of
the goals and she was joined on the scoresheet by Lucy Jones and Ruby Sealey.
AFC Wimbledon look set to finish the season in third place after being held to a
goalless draw by Harlow Town, for whom the point was a valuable one as the look to
climb out of the bottom four.
Norwich City meanwhile gave themselves hope when they defeated Cambridge
City 3-1. Jodie Drake, Freya Symonds and Megan Todd were all on target for Norwich,
       with Isabelle Ely replying.
