Director.
Gail is a trustee of the Premier League Charitable Fund, where she also chairs the
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and is the former chief executive of the
Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
She's also led complex organisations that are dedicated to changing society and
caring for those in need, including the Carers Trust, as well as her current role at King’s

As a former director of communications for The Scout Association and a head of

Directors Diploma in Company Direction and an MA in Marketing Management.
Her experience extends into the charity sector, having formerly been a Trustee of
CharityComms, the professional association for communication professionals in the
Third Sector, and has also been a Deputy Chair of the Money Advice Trust.
Gail is an Arsenal FC supporter and her daughter and son both play grass roots
football.
"There has been a huge increase in the interest in women’s and girls’ football over
the last few years and it continues to go from strength to strength," said Gail.
"I'm passionate about equality and equity for women and girls, and it’s been great
to see how so many have been inspired to watch and play our national sport.
“I’m very interested in the objectives of the FA and the Women’s Football Board
for greater diversity and growth of the talent pipeline, and I hope to bring my skills to
this important area."
Chair of the Women’s Football Board, Sue Hough, added: "On behalf of the FA
Women’s Football Board, I'm delighted to welcome Gail as our newest member.
“Gail brings great leadership and experience across governance, financial
management, marketing and business development – as well as a huge passion for
women’s football – which will add significant value to our group.
"We look forward to welcoming Gail as we continue to drive and positively
influence the ongoing development of the women’s game in England."
