Billericay Town swept into the quarter finals as
they defeated Queen's Park Rangers 6-3. Zoe
Rushen and Ruby Sealey each scored twice for
Town and they were joined on the scoresheet
by Lucy Jones and Beau Parker, with Amelia
Cutler, Lauren Jordinson and Melanie Hall all
replying for Rangers.
Crawley Wasps meanwhile won 2-0
against Ashford Town (Middlesex),
substitute Amelia Ajao firing them ahead with
a 25-yard strike and Cerys Jones added the
second goal late on.
Southampton Women are also
through to the last eight after scoring eight
times without reply past Hounslow
Megan Halfacree tries her luck when taking a free kick for
Women. Hope Suominen netted a goal in Maidenhead Utd against Moneyfields
each half for Southampton and Gabriella (www.jamesprickett.co.uk).
Tchuenkam also scored twice, with one apiece
from Summer Kilby, Emma-Jane May, Shannon Sievwright and Sian Wylie.
Division One North
Middlesbrough have entered the top four in the table after they won 2-1 against
Bradford City. Amber Rodgers and Francesca Ward scored the goals to hand 'Boro
their sixth win of the season, whilst Bradford's consolation came from Arianne Parnham.
Norton & Stockton Ancients meanwhile lifted themselves into the top half of the
table on the back of a 3-0 victory away to York City. Bianca Owens opened the scoring for
Norton just before the hour mark and Sophie Tierney netted a late brace to secure a fine
result for her side.
Division One Midlands
Honours were even in the only match played in the division on Sunday as Leek Town and
Leafield Athletic battled out a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, Paris O'Connor was on
target for Leek after the break and Leafield netted through Grace Murphy.
Division One South West
AFC Bournemouth have trimmed the gap on leaders Cardiff City Ladies to five points
after running out 6-1 winners away to AFC St Austell. Lucy Cooper hit a first half hat-trick
for the Cherries and she went on to score four times in all, whilst Molly Clark and Hannah
Hughes added the others, with Teagan Ridgment netting a consolation for the home side.
Moneyfields meanwhile defeated Maidenhead Utd 4-1, a result which takes
them up to fifth. Kau'inohea Taylor scored a hat-trick for the Moneys and Beth Burgess
added the other, with Natalie Cowell replying.
Reserve Section round-up
Loughborough Lightning were penalty shootout winners over Sporting Khalsa to
reach the quarter finals of the League Plate. Millie Quaintance was on target for
