Beech’s Bench Talk
Good afternoon and welcome to the Lancer
Scott stadium for the visit of Camberley Town.
Following 3 week’s inactivity, we come into
today’s game on the back of a great win on
Tuesday night against a physical Welton Rovers
side. I thought we dominated most of the first
half and should have been 2 up before
conceding a sloppy goal and went in at half
time 1 down. After talking through a few things
at half time we demanded a response and we
certainly got that and within a few minutes, we
were back in the game with a Joe Bank’s
equaliser, quickly followed by a stunning free
kick from James White to put us 2-1 up!
We went onto to finish the game with 9 men
after some bad refereeing/linesman decisions
which saw Oscar Pearce and James white sent
off. After looking at the Veo camera recording
(sponsored by Masters Roofing) we will be
appealing. We go into todays game against Camberley Town welcoming back
into the squad DJ Preddie, Harry Walker and Joe Cattermole in which should be
an entertaining game.
Hope you all enjoy the game, get behind the lads and I will see you in the bar
after the game.
