League Review

A penalty from Brandon Goodship pulled Salisbury level in first half injury-
       time.
Then came two late goals – with Aaron McCreadie giving the Whites an
85th minute lead that Lewis Waterfield levelled in the last minute of normal
       time.

Only four matches survived the wet weather in the Pitching In Southern
League Division One South today. However, one that did take place saw
leaders AFC Totton stretch their unbeaten league run to ten matches.
The Stags travelled to New Cuthbury to take on fourth-placed Wimborne
Town and a crowd of 716 saw the visitors get off to a great start when
Ethan Taylor fired home from just inside the box after just 2 minutes. Then,
just 2 minutes after half-time, AFC Totton doubled their lead when Benny
Read set up Scott Rendell for an easy finish. It was 3-0 within 5 more
minutes via a deflected Adam Tomasso effort. The visitors completed a
comfortable win in the 4th minute of stoppage time when substitute Matty
Burrows fired hoke from 25 yards.
Third-placed Hamworthy United edged a best-of-five goal win at the
Sunseeker International County Ground against Lymington Town, who
are still in danger of being sucked back into the relegation mire. Will
Fletcher gave the Hammers a great start with a 3rd minute opener which
Owen Fee cancelled out within 5 minutes. Rhys Taylor restored the home
side’s lead in the 13th minute. Eleven minutes after half-time, the visitors
equalised through Jireh Oyebaniji, only for Fletcher to grab his second of
the game in time added on at the end of the game.
Exmouth Town ended their winless run with a 1-0 against Devon rivals
and fifth-placed Tavistock AFC at the Circle of Care Community Stadium.
Town had gone nine games without a win, and, in front of a crowd of 379,
it was an own goal that settled the encounter. In the 16th minute, Ben
Steer’s cross was turned past Tavi keeper Josh Oak by Ed Harrison.
Bideford AFC remain four points above the drop zone after losing 2-0 at
the Sports Ground to a Paulton Rovers side who brought an end to a
       winless run of seven outings.
Ed Butcher gave the visitors a 13th minute lead that Dan Restorick added
       to in first half injury-time.
