MB: Getting our first league win of the season will definitely help the team push forward. We
have put in some great performances over the season so far and still missing out on results
so putting in a strong performance and coming away with three points against St Austell
was crucial for us. We can now push on to each match with the confidence in our ability that
we know we can get the win.
WSS: Overall, do you think that your division is a really strong one this season?
MB: The division we are competing in is definitely very strong and provides all kinds of
different challenges with each team we face. As a team we definitely are aware of the
standard we are playing at but enjoy embracing the challenge and can learn a lot from every
team we face as we keep building and becoming stronger ourselves each game we play.
       Our thanks to Mia!

Cheadle Town Stingers will be going all out to try and create club history when they play York
City in the First Round of the Vitality Women's FA Cup on Sunday.
The North West League side will host their National League opponents and Coach Rob
McKay told Women's Soccer Scene: "This is the second consecutive year we’ve reached the
First Round proper of the Women’s FA Cup and we felt we were unlucky to exit to Women’s
National League side Bradford City last year. So far in the competition, we’ve had a spirited
4-1 win against a youthful Blackpool team followed by a resolute penalty shootout victory away
       to Chester-le-Street Town.
"As a group, we agreed at the start of the season that we wanted to go at least one round
better and set a new club record in the competition."
Defender Jodie Hancock said: "The FA Cup provides an opportunity to showcase
competition at the highest level and test yourself against some of the best teams around the
country. Its a fantastic opportunity to bring our communities together to watch and inspire the
       next generation.”
“The game against York is a chance to test ourselves against a team that we don't usually
play," added forward Chloe Mapp. "We are excited to rise to the challenge of playing a team
from a higher level. We've got a great group that's getting stronger week by week so we're ready
       for it.”
