Good afternoon and Season’s Greetings to you all.
I hope that you had an enjoyable Christmas.

This afternoon we entertain our friends from
across the road, Brislington, in what promises to
be an a keenly contested and entertaining local
derby. We welcome their players, club officials and
supporters to Crown Fields together of course with
this afternoon’s match officials, referee Will Payne
and his assistants Steve Fearnley & Andy Davey.

The long awaited return to football last Saturday
certainly signalled an encouraging start to the
festive period for us, overcoming Hallen and
keeping an all important clean sheet in the process. It probably wasn't the prettiest
match you will ever see but I thought that we looked very solid and showed no real
negative signs of not having been able to play competitively since the end of
       October.

We would certainly settle for more of the same today.

Like most I'm not entirely sure how the rest of the season is going to pan out, what
with further restrictions due to the pandemic highly likely and now of course being
at the mercy of the weather which in any normal season takes a significant toll. It
will be interesting to see what happens. All we can do is to ensure that we are
prepared and ready for whatever comes our way.

As always thank you for your support and enjoy the game.
