Nottingham Forest bounced back from defeat
seven days earlier to beat Boldmere St Michaels
4-0 and go five points clear at the top. Charlotte
Greengrass gave Forest a first half lead which was
quickly doubled by Sophie Domingo, before the in-
form Greengrass went on to net twice more and
complete her hat-trick, which also takes her into
double figures for the season.
Derby County took second place after coming
from behind to win 2-1 away to Stoke City. The first
half was goalless but Kelsey Richardson put Stoke
ahead ten minutes after the restart. Derby hit back to
level matters through substitute Camille Jenkins and
Emily Joyce scored the winner for the Ewes with six
minutes remaining.
In midweek, Wolverhampton Wanderers
were dealt a setback to their title challenge when a
second half fightback saw them pegged back to a 2-2

Albion meanwhile registered a morale boosting 2-0 victory over Boldmere St Michaels,
given to them by Delphi Cole and a Hannah George penalty.
Southern Premier Division
Portsmouth notched up their seventh win in a row on Sunday, beating Cheltenham
Town 2-0. Alison Hall gave Pompey the lead with nineteen minutes on the clock and
Sophie Quirk sealed the points with the second goal late on.
Watford meanwhile moved back into the top three on the back of a 2-1 victory over
Milton Keynes Dons. Annie-Lee Rossiter and Faye Brough were both on target for
Watford, whilst the Dons' consolation came from Laura Mitchell.
A crucial match in the title race took place on Wednesday night and it saw Watford
defeat Portsmouth 2-0 to bring an end to the leaders' winning run. Second half goals from
Anne Meiwald and Kalani Peart gave Watford a valuable win which leaves them four points
off the pace, whilst Pompey's lead has been trimmed to a single point by Oxford Utd
following their 5-1 victory away to London Bees. Two of the U's recent signings, Tash
Stephens and Amy Goddard, each scored twice and Carly Johns added the other goal from
the penalty spot. Cheltenham Town are up to fifth after sharing a 2-2 draw with Milton
Keynes Dons, who twice took the lead through Angelina Nixon and Mollie Coupar with
