Introducing Weston-super-Mare FC



       Robbie  Willmo   - The experienced winger spent an early part of his career at Luton Town and
       Cambridge  United  before  featuring  for  Newport  County.  Time  with  Ebbsfleet  United,  Eastleigh,
       Bishops Stor ord and Chelmsford City then followed before a return to Newport. Signing for Woking
       in the summer, he signed for the Seagulls on loan un l the end of the season in October.
       Alex Fletcher - Alex began his career in the Plymouth Argyle academy and spent  me on loan with
       Torquay United, Aldershot Town and Tiverton Town before joining the la er permanently. His good
       form saw him signed by Bath City, where he spent almost three years un l he joined Weston in
       November 2023.
       Marlon  Jackson  -  Marlon  has  had  a  dis nguished  career  amongst  EFL  and  Non-League  clubs,
       spending his first spell with Weston during the 2018-2019 season a er represen ng the likes of
       Newport County and Hereford FC. He returned to the club in November 2021 following  me with
       Gloucester City and Chippenham Town.
       Reuben  Reid  -  One  of  our  more  experienced  players,  ‘Reidy’  has  played  for  Plymouth  Argyle,
       KIdderminster  Harriers,  Rochdale,  Torquay  United,  Wycombe  Wanderers,  Bren ord,  Rotherham
       United, West Bromwich Albion, Peterborough United, Walsall, Rotherham United, West Bromwich
       Albion, Oldham Athle c, Yeovil Town, Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers and Cheltenham Town. He
       signed for Weston in 2022.
       Jamie Soule - Jamie began with the West Bromwich Albion Academy and spent periods with Lincoln
       City, Barrow AFC and Cheltenham Town on loan.  He joined Alvechurch early in 2023 before joining
       the club in the summer of 2023 as our first summer signing. Has also represented England at U17
       level three  mes.

       MANAGEMENT
       Sco  Bartle  - A playing career that included spells with Salisbury FC, Weston, Bath City and Forest
       Green Rovers, Sco  spent a spell in charge during the 2016-2017 season before moving full- me as
       Head of Academy at Forest Green.  Following his departure from FGR, he returned to Weston in the
       summer of 2019 and oversaw our successful 2022-2023 league win.
       Sco  Rogers - A playing career that saw him feature for Tiverton Town twice, Forest Green Rovers,
       Bath City, Newport County, Chippenham Town & Eastleigh, he was appointed player-manager of
       Willand Rovers in 2013. Sco  moved on to Tiverton as player-coach in 2015 before later becoming
       manager in 2019 alongside Martyn Rogers. Was appointed assistant manager in July 2023.
       Steve Laker - Goalkeeping coach Steve had a playing career locally with various teams in the Western
       League and Somerset County League, before moving into coaching with Bridgwater Town, Bishop
       Su on and Wells City. ‘Lakes’ joined the club in 2020 from Bridgwater, just before the first Covid
       lockdown.
       Richard Joyce - Joining the club as Opposi on Analyst in the summer of 2023, ‘Joycie’ has previously
       worked with Forest Green Rovers, Brimscombe & Thrupp, Evesham United, Redditch United and
       Cheltenham Town. He also manages Thornbury Town alongside his Weston du es, where he has
       been since 2022.
       Taylor Cornish - Sport Therapist Taylor has been with the club since September 2021 having joined
       from Dorchester Town. He has previously worked with Taunton Town and Bridgwater Town.
       Gordon Mackay - ‘Gordy’ first became involved with the Seagulls as a turns le a endant in 2020
       before being appointed first-team kit man in 2023, following in the footsteps of the much-loved
       Malcolm ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
       Sam Trego - A lifelong Seagulls fan, Sam has spent the past few years as the groundsman at Weston
       Cricket Club before being appointed head groundsman at The Op ma, combining his love of football
       and cricket to combat both roles simultaneously.
       Bob Flaske  - Bob spent many years helping to run Weston St Johns before becoming groundsman
       for the  Seagulls in 2003. Spending over two decades looking a er the  pitch, Bob moved  into a
       consultancy role at the end of 2023, his knowledge and exper se helping the Seagulls greatly.
