Unbeaten run ended by slick Gills

On Saturday our long undefeated run came to an end. When 2nd from
bo om Gillingham took the 3 points to take their run to 4 games without a
loss.

While we didn’t really play well we have enough chances to out of sight
before the away side snatched a win from a corner in the 76th min.
Numerous players were guilty of not finishing good chances plus the fact
we came up against another keeper who seemed to save everything that
was goal bound.
And if the keeper didn’t save it the post or crossbar backed him up. S ll
wondering how George Jones effort in the 80th min stayed out.

To make things worse Joel Smith was sent off for 2 yellow cards & Danny
Barwood was forced off at half me with a reccurrence of his hamstring
problem.

We knew that it would be a tough with the form the visitors were in but we
s ll had enough on the pitch to see them off. But it just wasn’t to be.
