Today’s Visitors
Goalkeeper
Seth Locke – Seth is a highly rated young goalkeeper who joins us on loan from Frome
Town for the 2021-22 season. After impressing in Division 1 with Bishop Sutton last
season, Seth will gain more valuable experience in the Prem this season plying between
the sticks for the K’s.
Defenders
Nathan Curnock – joined the Ks for the 2015/16 season and made the left-back slot his
own after previously playing as a left winger. Pacy and adds useful height to our defence
at set pieces, although doesn’t usually net until Christmas has been and gone. Was
unfortunate to miss all of the curtailed 2019-20 season with a serious hip injury, but is
fully fit and raring to go now.
Mike Grist – Gristy is another ex-Wells city player who has played under John for many
years; a no-nonsense centre half, he joined the Ks 2 years ago from Bristol Telephones,
making his debut at Radstock Town. Also chips in with some vital goals and forms part of
the famed “Mitchell Brothers” centre-half duo when paired with Scott Saunders!.
Jordan Anstey – has been at the club since his junior days, and has matured into a
confident centre half. Can also cover at left back or midfield and his versatility has been
vital for the Ks.
Jack Dancey – a new signing this summer from Southern League Larkhall Athletic, Jack
is comfortable anywhere in defence or midfield. He actually started out as a Ks junior
before moving away to college at 16, and also has Northern League experience with
Consett and Whitley Bay from his time at Durham University.
George Rooke – a local lad (lives within sight of Crown Fields) who, after 2 years with
Bath City’s Academy, broke into the First Team squad last season after some impressive
performances for our successful Reserve side.
Scott Gregory - Scott joined from Hellenic side Westbury United for the 2021/22 season.
The experienced centre half, who has also played for Radstock and Oldland, will add
further strength to our defence.
Jamie Gregory -Jamieis a talented defender andis no stranger to the club. Having
played for both Bristol City and West Brom at youth level, Jamie also has Western League
experience playing for Bitton and Welton. Jamie will strengthen our defensive.
Midfielders
Harley Purnell – it was a major coup when Harley decided to join the Ks back in January
2018 after 4 very successful years with Bristol Manor Farm with whom he gained
promotion to the Southern League. He has an excellent football brain and is a born leader,
taking the captain’s armband since his arrival.
Scott Saunders – A centre half or central midfielder who signed from Toolstation
Premier side Wells City 2 years ago, Sauce possesses a range of passing and is excellent
in the air. He can also play at full back, and his experience of gaining promotion from
Division 1 four seasons ago with Wells City was invaluable for the Ks when we won the
Division One title 2 years ago. Previous clubs include Brislington, Backwell and Cutters
Friday.
Sam Jones - Sam joins us for the 2021-22 season. He joined from Odd Down and has
impressed during the pre-season. He can play centre mid, or full back and his versatility,
work rate and qality will help strengthen the squad for the coming season.
Dan Cottle -Dan joined in October 2021 from Paulton Roversandbrings further quality
and experience to the squad. Dan is comfortable playing as a number 10 or out wide and
has previously played for Bradford Town Bristol Manor Farm and Frome Town.
