KEYNSHAM TOWN LADIES 4
       Secretary’s Notes

Good Afternoon and welcome to our game against Plymouth Argyle Women who we
trust had a safe journey up the M5 without too many delays..

Yeesss! I am finally able to access the referee’s appointments system – just when we
haven’t got another home game where I will need them for the next four weeks when
we play Chichester and Selsey on 26th September! There will be Academicals and
Reserves game here at the ground in between but their referees are appointed by
County and South West Womens Football League respectively.

I don’t think we have mentioned the change of rule whereby we are now permitted
to play all 5 of 5 substitutes when previously we could only play 3 of 5. So should the
eagle eyed of you spot this happening and wonder what is going on that is the
explanation. We are NOT permitted roll on roll off subs in the FA WNL.

Another change is in player registration. Following a change in FA requirements
parental consent is no longer required by the FA WNL for players aged 16 and 17 as
of 31st August. This will make life much quicker and easier for managers to get their
player registration forms back to me, with presumably no birth certificates or
passports required, and once a player is in the registration system they should be
able to do online consent rather than paper forms going forward. Also it will
presumably facilitate on the day signings in that age group – something I will need
to check – as this was not possible before until the league had received a copy of the
       registration form.

I now have two league zoom meetings to look forward to over the next couple of
weeks. The first on the referee’s appointments process and marking system, and the
second with Baroness Sue Campbell DBE, Director of Women’s Football to discuss
and update the FA WNL Board strategic objectives and vision for the FA WNL.
Perhaps there will be the opportunity to ask Baroness Campbell when clubs will
receive the £10,000 each which she promised some time ago.

Soft drinks are back on at the pump at the bar with a new dispenser system installed
on Friday. There is currently a shortage of Coca and Pepsi Cola but it is now one of
those available on pump if you ask. You will also see a brand new hot drinks vending
machine installed but it will be a few days before it is operational. In the meantime
we can do hot chocolate at the bar if you want a hot drink.

       Enjoy the game.
