A warm welcome to you all for this our first Southern League home
fixture of the 2020/21 season, in particular the players, management,
directors and supporters from Dorchester Town. We hope you enjoy your
visit, and trust everyone has a safe trip home this evening. We start
today’s match on the back of a solid away point in the League but a
disappointing early exit in the FA Cup. We cannot be too critical of this
new group of players and one performance doesn’t define the team. The
Gaffer and his squad will improve and you can read his thoughts over the
       page.
One exciting bit of news is that the ground will now be known as the
‘South West Interiors Stadium’ following the generosity and support
of another local sponsor. While we are on the subject of sponsors we are
pleased to announce that today’s match day sponsor is Cellar Barber’s
and Hair Studio. Thank you to both of these local businesses for your
       welcome support.
Unfortunately we cannot ignore the ever present threat that COVID
presents. The announcements by the Prime Minister on Tuesday have
already had an impact and our clubhouse will have to comply with the
latest guidance applicable to licensed premises. For you this means
wearing a face covering when entering the clubhouse and closing by
10pm. The job of implementing this is a challenge and we have added
extra signage to keep you all informed, as well as extra stewards around
the ground to offer advice and remind you of the controls in place but we
do rely on you to help us. The groups of 6 applies to spectators. There
should not be more than 6 in a group together within the stadium and it
is the responsibility of clubs to manage the games as the "event
organiser". Local authorities have been given powers which WILL allow
them to impose sanctions upon clubs in terms of attendances and the
League or FA would not be able to overturn this. In addition, should the
FA become aware of repeated breaches of the protocols it is within the
power of leagues and the governing body to remove the 30% attendance
restriction and revert back to the 15% for individual clubs. It is very
much in our hands to ensure we comply and can continue to welcome
you to the South West Interiors Stadium
                                                      We have three options in
