Hugo Sobte-Heading into his fifth season with Hanwell, Hugo joined from Windsor. Prior to
Windsor, Hugo was at a number of academies such as Reading, QPR, Crystal Palace as well as
Chelsea where he played for three seasons along with England stars Mason Mount and Declan
Rice. An absolute crucial member of our promotion winning side he is a strong commanding
keeper who distributes balls with pin point precision.
Calum Duffy is the son of former Town player and manager Ray Duffy and he along with his
brothers Ollie, Tom and Connor all came through the club’s youth system and all have played
for the club for long periods. Calum commenced his career at the club at the age of just 16.
After a season away at Uxbridge, Calum returned to his home club and he was an integral part
of the side that clinched promotion to level three in the pyramid at the end of last season.
Dwayne Duncan- joined us midway through the 2018-19 season, since when he has been
an ever present in our back four defensive line. He had previously played for Chesham United,
Potters Bar Town and Harpenden Town.. Remarkably as a defender he scored fifteen goals for
Harpenden in their 2017/18 season. Dwayne loves a header and has scored a few for the
Geordies over the past couple of seasons. Another crucial member of our promotion side.
Callum Woodcock- Joined the club at the start of the 2019/20 season. His career at the
club has been blighted by injury but we are hopeful that he will get a full season under his belt
this time around. He joined us from Chalfont St Peter having previously played for Chesham
United for whom he made twenty one first team appearances having progressed through their
Under 18 set up. A very quick defender with the ability to turn defence into attack in a flash.
Connagh Wilks is a newcomer to the club having joined from Bedfont Sports for whom he
played after returning from his scholarship in America. While in the states, Connagh played for
the University of Houston-Victoria while studying General Business. He later went onto play for
AHFC Royals and Brazos Valley Cavalry who play in the USL2 !. Connagh is a tall, strong
defender wno scored a number of goals for Bedfont last season.
Massimo Giamattei joined the club from Bracknell Town last season. He began his playing
career at Reading before moving to Swindon Town at the age of 13. He siged a one year
professional contract in 2020. Mass was named on the bench twice for Swindon Town in the
EFL Trophy.
Mark Waters is a new signing from Tooting & Mitcham who caught the eye of our
management team last season. He joined Tooting in 2020 after previously playing for
Edinburgh University, the Scottish University National Team! He spent eight years studying
Archictecture in Scotland and has helped design Premier League and EFL Clubs training
grounds and stadiums. Afetr a very impressive pre season , we look forward to seeing Mark in
action.
George Nicholas- George joined us at the start of the aborted 2020/21 season from Potters
Bar Town. An impressive signing George has been virtually ever present in the squad since his
arrival. Starting out at Hemel Hempstead Under 18's, George impressed a Notts County scout
watching on and soon signed a professional contract, he travelled to Italy with them where he
played in the famous fixture against Juventus. George lists his previous clubs as Wealdstone,
Northwood and Potters Bar. Another absolute integral part of our promotion winning side.
Harry Rush- Harry is our club captain who rejoined the club mid way through the aborted
2020/21 season from Kings Langley. A quality player and made captain at the young age of
22, he leads the team by example with his hard work in the midfield area. He has now played
over 100 gamea for the club and also found the net several times in the promotion season.
Sam Saunders – Sam made over 200 appearances for Brentford and is a member of their
hall of fame. He also played for Dagenham and Redbridge, Fulham, Colchester United and
others. He is currently the Assistant Coach for Brentford B whom have played several of their
games at Hanwell Town.
A good friend of manager Chris Moore he decided that he wasn’t ready to hang up his boots
yet and joined the club last season.Despite his age has retained much of his former skills
and is a key player for the club.
Jack Hutchinson-Jack rejoined the Geordies after previously playing for the club in 2016.
Jack is a clever midfielder who worked tremendously hard on his fitness throughout the
lockdown period and he came back stronger and sharper than ever !. Jack was part of the
Wealdstone side who gained promotion into National League South in 2014. He has also
