Brislington FC Player Profiles 2019/20

George Dorrington – Goalkeeper
Former academy player at Man U & Huddersfield Town. Has had spells at Mangotsfield &
Odd Down. We have tried 3 mes to sign him this season and finally managed to get his
registra on sorted.
Ben Payter - Goalkeeper
Former academy player at Bristol Rovers who has put in some good performances for the
youth team. Definitely one for the future.
Kye Thomas – Defender
Signed from Yate Town who was previously at Bridgewater Town. Can play at full back or
out wide strong player who likes to get the ball at his feet and play. A experienced and vital
player to our squad who has been made captain for this season.
Mark Fear – Defender
New signing this season from Hengrove experienced le back who is comfortable with the
ball at his feet who is a welcome addi on to the squad. Perksy tried to sign him last season
Sco Lewis – Defender
Last years Captain at Hengrove who has made the move to us this season. Centre half who
is good in the air and on the deck as well never stops talking which will fill the gap le by
Jason Hughes.
Danny Barwood - Defender
Returns to the club a er a short spell at Stockwood Green last season. No nonsense centre
half who loves a tackle with never say die a tude great to have him back this season
Mitch Greenslade – Defender
Came through the youth team a few years ago and has spells at Clevedon & Backwell.
Centre half or right back who is strong in the air and good passing ability.
Jason Llama – Defender
In his second spell at the club a er a spell at Bi on. Versa le defender who play anywhere
across the back four who likes to get forward.
James Peart – Midfield
The teams longest serving player who progressed from the youth team. He is the work
horse for the the team and never stops running. Can also fill in as a full back if needed. .
Mike Rimmer – Midfield
Apart from a season at Bradford has been at the club for a few seasons now. Ball playing
midfield player and on his day not many be er passers of the ball in this league.
Simon Prangley – Midfield
Recent signing from Cwmbran Cel c. Formally at Bradford last season and a Welsh
interna onal futsal player which shows with his quick feet and good touches. Has
definitely bought a bit of flair to the squad.
Ricky Chandler – Midfield

His 5 season at the club a er signing from Almondsbury UWE. Has a lot of pace and a
good le foot. Has shown his versa lity when playing at le back and gives us a good
op on because of ability to play with the ball at his feet.
