View from the dugout

This side is going from strength to strength at the moment. We have extended our run to
19 wins on the bounce and are scoring goals for fun. Since our last home game on 28th Feb
which was a 3-0 win against AEK Boco.
And seen us pick up another team of the month award for February boas ng 7 games won
with 31 goals scored with only 1 against which is impressive in any level of football.
We started March in similar fashion, we won 2-0 against a good Warminster side with both
goals coming from Oaklan Buck. We then travelled to Gillingham Town on a cold Tuesday
night. They were the last team to beat us all the way back in October.
There was to be no such drama this me with goals from Dean Griffiths x2, Jordan
Scadding, Jordan Me ers & Oaklan Buck giving us a 5-2 win and seeing us go top of the
league for the first me this season.
Next up was a trip to Por shead Town and a game which required a 10am pitch inspec on
following a week of Snow & rain. The pitch was passed to play on and I dont think nobody
could foresee what would happen next. Being held 1-1 at HT a er George Jones gave us
      the lead.

The 2nd half was a different story with Briz absolutely rampant winning the game 8-1.
What is remarkable is that George Jones helped himself to another 5 goals to finish with a
double hat trick. The other goals came from James Dunn & Josh Egan. and in the process
of scoring 8 goals we went past 100 league goals for the season.
Next up was the eagerly awaited 1st v 2nd clash with Nailsea. Would we see our run come
to an end. The simple answer was no. The side put in an impressive display as we came
away with a 4-0 win, goals from Asa White, Lewis Dunn, Oakan Buck & George Jones
opened our gap at the top of the league to 6 points. It was a great display from the team
on a difficult pitch. We never let the home side se le and got our revenge for a 3-0 defeat
      earlier in the season.

Today we welcome Longwell Green who we've not played yet this season and hope we can
pick up 3 points in our assault on the league tle. This is followed by a Les Phillips CuP Q/F
on Tuesday against our nearest rivals Keynsham Town with the winners facing Shepton
Mallet in the semi final on 8th May.
And then next Saturday another big game as we visit now 2nd place Wells City. This is going
to be a massive game and could poten ally see us be 9 points clear with 6 games le .

      Enjoy the game
