Today we welcome Chipping Sodbury to the Auen Tips stadium.

Like us they have made the sideways move to the Hellenic League and a club we
know well from all our games in recent seasons.

All of us at Hallen wish all their players, officials and supporters a warm welcome
and hope they enjoy their visit to Moorhouse Lane.

After being on a high after a good midweek win last week away at Brimscombe we
were brought back down to earth on the weekend when we were heavily beaten
by Westbury. Let’s hope we can get back on track tonight.

As I said in my notes at the weekend, we are all very confident that we can turn
things around, however we know this is going to take a bit of time and not going
to be an overnight fix.

Again at the weekend I mentioned that what we will need are players who really
want to give their all for the club no matter what our league position is but this is
also the same for our support. We have had some very good times at Hallen and
we are under no illusion that we are in a very sticky situation at present and a bit
down in the dumps. However, being a football supporter is about giving your
support and backing at all times no matter what. But we know it works both ways
and I’m sure the lads will be giving you all something to smile about soon.

Let’s have a bit of positivity !!!

On a positive note we had some good wins at the weekend for our Reserves who
progressed in the Cup and our A team who won again and who are now sitting 2nd
in the table.

Finally, I would just like to say that I hope everyone has an enjoyable visit to
Moorhouse Lane and see you in the bar afterwards and also at Cribbs in only 3 days
time when play them on Friday.
