       Around the grounds

The Crown Ground is a multi-use
       stadium in Accrington, Lancashire,
England. It is currently used mostly for
football matches and is the home
       ground of Accrington Stanley.

The ground is currently known as the
Wham Stadium as part of a three-year
       £200,000 sponsorship deal with What
More UK Ltd. It was previously also
named the Fraser Eagle Stadium and
       the Interlink Express Stadium.

The stadium itself is relatively small but generates a real football atmosphere. The
main stand is fully seated but with the exception of a small row of seats at the
front of the Clayton Terrace, all 3 others are terracing. The 'Stanley Ultras' stand
behind the goal opposite the away fans and generate a lot of noise.

The Jack Barret Memorial Stand is the newest and runs along half the length of
the pitch with The John Smiths Stand making up the other half. The Clayton End
is where the more vocal supporters go, The Eric Whalley Stand is where the away
fans go as well as in The Coppice End.

Visiting supporters are situated in the Coppice Terrace behind one of the goals and
are open to the elements as the stand has no roof. The Whinney Hill Stand is also
allocated to away fans if demand for tickets is high. Both are standing only.

The main away fan's pub which is a few minutes from the ground and is called The
Whittakers Arms. It is situated just 200 yards away from the old Peel Park ground
