Exceptions to student FTE based grants:
Online high school base funding of $ 6,670.40 for first three years of high school for students who completed at least 30 credits in the year, otherwise funded at $ 1,000.
Online high school base funding for 4th and 5th year of high school at $ 1,000/year

Budget for the projected increases are allocated to a contingency budget and will be allocated to schools if enrollment increases. If increase greater than projection, ECCS will receive an adjustment in the 2021-22 grant for the grant shortfall. If increase less than projection, Alberta Education will recover by decreasing 2021-22 grant payments for the 2020-21 overpayment.
Base grants funded at Weighted Moving Average ( 20% 2018-19 enrollment, 30% on 2019-20 and 50% on 2020-21 projections)
ESC base grant is $ 3,032/child
Grade 1-9 base grant $ 6,064/student
Theresetta and Christ-King receive Rural Small School grant instead of base grant per child/ student
