Resources
A learning resource is information, represented and stored in a variety of media and formats, that assist student learning as defined by Provincial or local curricula. This definition spans what we can call traditional, new and emerging technologies. Although the District Plan focuses primarily on new and some emerging technologies, the traditional technologies are included where possible. In future revisions of this plan, the broad spectrum of learning resources including traditional, new and emerging technologies should be addressed more thoroughly. The reason is that these tech- nologies must all be recognized and supported as contributors to student learning.
