6.4 Technology Collaboration and Partnerships
The District supports collaboration and partnerships at the District and School level that can appro- priately contribute to the achievement of the goals of the District Technology Plan.
6.4.1 Explore and facilitate greater interaction, collaboration and support with
respect to District and School Technology Plans implementation. The goal
would be to obtain hardware, software, human and financial resources in
accordance with existing District policies. Partnerships could be explored
and developed with individuals and/or agencies and/or groups such as: By June 2001
• Students;
• Parents;
• Teachers;
• Support staff;
• School Administrators;
• District Administration;
• Municipal Community;
• Arts and Historical Community; • Air Force Base Community;
• Lakeland Development Corporation, • Business Community;
• College/University Community; and • The Mass Media Community.
6.4.2 Explore technology support through the establishment of the Lakeland R.C.S.S. District Technology Foundation. By June 2001
