Color of the Flag
Our flag consists of three major colours bands, with
Saffron on the top,
White in the middle,
and Green in at the bottom.
The white middle band consists of a Chakra.
The Saffron in the flag reflects the courage and strength of
our country.
The White signifies peace and truth which drives our
country.
The Green band shows fertility, greenery, growth and
auspiciousness of the country.
The Chakra
This Chakra reflects the 'wheel of law' brought into
existence by Emperor Ashoka. The chakra denotes that
there is life in movement and death in stagnation.
