Tenses
Tense represents time in a sentence.
It indicates the time when the situation or event took place.
Tenses are of 3 types
1. "Yesterday", i.e. the past
2. "Today ", i.e. the present
3. "Tomorrow", i.e. the future
Past tense is used to describe things that have already happened
e.g. last week, one years ago.
Present tense is used to describe things that are happening right
now, or things that are continuous.
e.g. now, today.
Future tense describes things that have yet to happen
e.g. later, tomorrow, next week, next year, three years from now.
