P. 4

Godly ambition is good. If we are ambitious for growth in Him -
personally, collectively, and numerically – this will meet with Divine
Approval. The parables of the talents and the sower celebrate
       God’s love of abundant growth.

The beginning of the year is a natural time to think ahead and make
plans, set goals, and refresh vision.

God seems to like the number 3. We have the Trinity, of course,
and the wonderful verse, “…and a threefold cord is not quickly
broken.” (See the full verse in Ecclesiastes 4:12 for additional

       consistent and diligent.

‘Doctrine’ is a more Corporate quest. I hope you are as fond of our
identity as a ‘Reformed’ church and the history of the Reformers,
Reformed Movement, and Reformation as I am. The Reformation
was re-formed on sound Doctrine – and there is no firmer
foundation. Jesus said, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do
not do what I say?” We have easy access to much of what Jesus
says in the Word, so let’s press in to do what the Good Book says.
To do this, we need the know the Book!

‘Dominion’ is a Community quest. Swanage and Wareham and
