for Friends, liaising with funeral coordinators or elders in local meetings.
REGISTERING OFFICER FOR MARRIAGES Jeni Bremner (L) arranges for Quaker marriages to be solemnised.
Penny Estall (P) is the deputy officer.
SAFEGUARDING OFFICER Peter Estall (P) responds on behalf of the Area Meeting to allegations or suspicions
of emotional, physical or sexual abuse concerning children and vulnerable adults.
Looking after money
TREASURER Ann Green (P) and Assistant Treasurer Tom Sanders (P) ensure that bills are paid, and they
prepare the annual accounts and report for the Charity Commission.
Keeping us informed
NEWS & VIEWS EDITOR Helen Rouse (B) produces a newsletter three times a year for everyone in the area
meeting.
WEBSITE CONTACT Rob Score (P) assists local meetings with website matters.
RECORDS ADVISOR Len Wigg (P) prints business meeting minutes for our area and local meetings at the end
of each triennium, and delivers them for archiving at the Dorset History Centre in Dorchester. The role
involves advice from time to time, especially when old books are donated.
