Twins Sarah Early
We’re twins, you see.
Perfect twins.
No-one can tell us apart,
Except for our closest friends.
I have a little bruise on my neck.
She has one on her leg.
That’s all.
But when you first look at us
You don’t see those marks.
We work together,
And we play together,
Always in perfect harmony.
We’ve travelled thousands of miles
And we’ve entertained thousands of people,
Most of them strangers to us.
But we’re not shy, because we’re together.
And that always gives us strength.
We love playing together,
And this pleasure will last our whole lives.
How long will that be?
We don’t know.
That depends on how well we’re cared for.
We hope it is many years,
Because we love this harmony we make.
We just love it.
When we fly to somewhere
We get special seats on the plane.
And we get special treatment at the airport,
A special route through Customs.
Because we ARE special.
WE know that, and THEY know that.
P. S. Shall I tell you a secret?
