Social + Fund Raising ~ September

We were pleasantly surprised
with the success of our Cream
Teas & Stalls afternoon in July
and welcomed so many less well
known friends. In spite of
numbers our super-efficient
Caterers and
Waitresses ensured all were
served and never kept waiting! A real team effort.
We raised £525.00!

Smartie Tubes are gradually being
returned filled with an assortment
of coins. Whatever coins you fill
them with goes into Church Funds,
thank you. Six so far returned totalling £53.

Our next Fun-Filled evening is on 13 September and will be a
Beetle and Bingo Drive starting at 6 pm. Supper of Hot Dog and
Ice Cream will be included in the £7 ticket price, available from
Ruth or any team member. There will of course be the obligatory
RAFFLE!

October 18 brings another ‘Armchair Travelogue’ this time
presented by Paul and Davina on their recent visits to Orkney; a
date for your diary!

If you are unable to support events for any reason please consider
supplying a consumable Raffle prize or buying tickets. We have
many demands on our resources in the months ahead!
