vine (us Christians who must actively receive that nourishment), a
Gardener (God, who prunes to make branches more productive)

       and ultimately, loads of fruit.

We can’t force this fruit – it comes from a close relationship with
God; if we remain linked in to God, we would hope to see some of
       the 9 fruity attributes.

As for the many different kinds of fruit, of course all Christians
should show love, joy, peace etc; however, because we’re bespoke
individuals with a unique relationship with our Vine, we may,
depending on where in the world we’re planted, what sort of care
we get from our Church and what sorts of strengths / challenges we
face, show our fruit in ways that are not uniformly the same.
Let’s encourage and relish all – after all, tomatoes are also fruits!

       Summer Cream Teas
       Thank you to Lesley and
       Elizabeth for throwing open their
       gardens every Wednesday during
August; and also to the team for
       producing delicious cream teas and
       cakes.

       Great informal occasions!

       Thanks to all involved.
