The time is ripe to choose godly lives
The time is ripe to expose and challenge the lies

Hatred and revenge are not from God, be wise

Let us pray
for justice,
for righteousness,
for love

Our spirits are frozen by hate
but warm prayers can melt the chains
and deliver heaven’s surprise

Ann and I were privileged to attend the funeral of a friend and a
member of the Poole Quakers. Back in 2009 he had written this
meditation which was shared at his funeral.

BE STILL

In that Divine Stillness in the very centre of our being
May we enter into our communion with God
And know Him for ourselves.

As we wait in this Light surrounded by
An all-encompassing Love,
May we experience that infinite Stream of Goodness and Healing
That flows from our Creator.

Enriched by the fruits of the Spirit
May we live adventurously,
A life filled with Love and Peace
In our sharing and caring for one another.
