Summer Fun ~
Raising Funds
Our Armchair Travelogue to Japan presented by Martin, resulted in
£247 in donations. A most interesting and enjoyable afternoon.
This month we welcome
th
The Purbeck Village Quire on Saturday 5 at 7 pm.
to entertain us.
Always an interesting mix of music, information and anecdotes
involving a number of our own members, so do join us in the
Worship Area for this and refreshments afterwards.
This year we thought we would try having a
th
Cream Tea Afternoon on Saturday 19 July from 2.30 pm
with a few stalls, not quite a Fayre! and
contributions for the Stalls will be gratefully received by any
member of the team:
Cakes, toys, games and puzzles, gifts,
(a bit up-market from Bric-a-Brac!), books,
bottles, and raffle prizes are all needed!
Marion and Ruth will be running a stall with all items wrapped in
newspaper, which was always popular at past Christmas bazaars.
Items for this stall too, please.
As in previous years Lesley is opening her garden at
27 Redcliffe Rd on Wednesdays in August from 2.15 pm. Come
and join us and bring friends for a Cream Tea and Cake in her
beautiful garden.
Have you got your Smartie Tube to fill? If not speak with a
member of the Fund Raising Team!
