Swanage Foodbank
The Christmas surplus was distributed where appropriate during a
busy January and early February, and already Easter eggs have
been appearing in the donation bins around the town!
Sadly, this winter we have seen an increase in homeless people in
Swanage, whether passing through or sheltering temporarily from
the extremes of weather we’ve been experiencing.
Many tins and cans of cold meat now have ‘ring-pull’ access which
are suitable for these situations.
Our Household/toiletries/pet food cupboard stocks
regularly run low:
Washing up liquid, Laundry liquid/powder,
Cif or similar cleaning products
Shampoo, toothpaste, pet food
We currently have a large stock of baked beans and pasta!
