Their “big picture” awareness also extends to the
vehicles Robert and Pamela pilot throughout South
Florida’s busy streets and highways. An EV-evangelist,
Robert owned two BMW i3s prior to his recent ordering
of a sleek, new 2023 BMW i4. Delivery was continuously
delayed, however; but a fortuitous consolation prize, in
the form of a gorgeous black 2023 BMW iX, eventually
arrived to Braman BMW West Palm Beach. Robert’s
mind was fairly easily swayed, and now he smiles at
every gas station he passes.
Though the transition away from gasoline-powered
vehicles has been seamless and range anxiety a
nonissue—the couple recently completed a roundtrip to
Orlando in the iX—Pamela’s BMW 330e Plug-In Hybrid
can provide reliable transport to Tallahassee, or beyond,
whenever necessary. Robert personally believes a more
resilient community can be forged through further EV
adoption, and less reliance on fossil-fuels.
The pursuit of this vision may yet provide another
opportunity for local government to work in tandem
with the organizations and charities within the
community; proving to even the most cynical of citizens
that when it comes to Palm Beach County’s future,
there’s plenty of reason for optimism.
