Making a BIG Impact

With the MINI Club of South Florida

MINI HAS ALWAYS BEEN DIFFERENT. Introduced stateside 60 years ago, the
quirky little car was more fun to drive and fit more passengers and cargo
than it had any right to. It quickly became an icon in the counterculture
            movements of the 1960s.

As with all of us, the MINI of today looks a little different and has gained a
little weight. But like a fine wine, it is getting better with age. Never before
has the MINI been quite this powerful, safe, efficient, or more beloved by
            its owners.

Braman MINI of Palm Beach deeply identifies with the appeal of these
cars—and the passion of their owners. When the opportunity arose to
become involved with a brand-new owners group, the team jumped
in without a second thought. Spearheaded by Elizabeth Dashiell and
supported by Braman MINI of Palm Beach, the MINI Club of South
Florida became official in July of 2019.

Initial members wasted no time in putting together several incredible
events catered specifically to like-minded MINI enthusiasts. From
charitable rallies to autocross events; private movie showings to late
night parties—all celebrated not only the vehicles themselves, but
their owners. Just like the incorrigible little car that inspired the
group, the events are far from typical, and regularly include a level of
            social philanthropy.

As the club’s supporting dealer, Braman MINI of Palm Beach has been
integral in helping to host events, as well as offering exclusive perks for
members in the form of car washes and discounted synthetic oil changes.

From the beginning, the initiative was to be more than a close-knit
social group. Officers were established, and members are encouraged
to take an active role in steering club efforts during monthly meetings.
Since launch, more than 50 MINI owners from across Palm Beach have
joined—with the goal being to attract every MINI owner throughout
Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin Counties.
