Porsche continues to dismiss the sta-
tus quo and exhibit courage with the advent of the Porsche Panamera sports sedan—a never-before seen form with ve hundred and fty horsepower, four seats, and zero compromise. Two all-new models, the Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo encompass two new engines, and a new chassis. The Panamera challenges the notion of the conventional sedan by becoming the most dynamic, practical, best-handling, and most usable sedan on the market.
The Panamera boasts an unmistakable silhouette, and the performance gures associated only with a Porsche. The changes courageously continue forward. The new Panamera brings the Porsche yline to the four-door body style by lengthening and widening the visual im- pact of the new chassis. The front wheels were moved forward and the rear of the roof line was lowered, thereby creating a longer and sleeker pro le.
A 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 powers the 4S, while the Turbo is now equipped with
a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Both engines are mated to a new eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung dual clutch gear box that sends power to all four wheels via Porsche's hang-on clutch system.
The interior has been completely re- styled; nevertheless, it remains typically “Porsche.” For instance, the ascending center console enables quick hand movement from the multifunction steering wheel to the direct touch control center console. The dashboard is at and conspicuously wide, with an integrated high-resolution 12-inch touchscreen display complete with touch-sensi-
tive buttons. To the left and right, two high-resolution displays provide all the necessary information and then some, such as the navigation map or optional Night Vision Assist.
Porsche Connect enhances existing
vehicle functions with intelligent ser- vices and apps. The ingenious sports car ergonomics of the Panamera interior are focused on the driver, but the comfort
of the passengers hasn’t been neglect- ed. Perhaps the most striking feature of the rear seats is that there are two. With plenty of leg and headroom, they o er excellent lateral support through fast corners— without sacri cing comfort.
In conjunction with optional 4-zone au- tomatic climate control, the passengers in the rear have a touchscreen display of their own. Thanks to the extensive range of personalization options, the possibili- ties of the Panamera are virtually endless. Seat variants, leather or two-tone interior schemes can be customized in Braman Porsche’s design studio, as well as ne woods, aluminum or carbon ber, wheels up to 21 inches and so much more. Go ahead and challenge the Braman Ambas- sadors to make it as sporty and luxurious as it can get!
