Those involved in anti-social behaviour
on Grimsby’s Nunsthorpe estate are
feeling the full force of Operation Storm.
We teamed up with Humberside Police and North
East Lincolnshire Council to stamp out reports of
stolen mopeds being ridden through the estate and
young people hanging around in Shelley Avenue,
intimidating and abusing passers-by.
Now we’re calling on those living and working
around the estate to keep up the good work.
Sergeant Darryl Caroline said: “The aim of Operation
Storm is to stop these issues in their tracks before
they get out of hand.
“We know the impact that anti-social behaviour can
have on people’s lives and we won’t stand for it.”

TOUGH
STANCE
A three month Closure Order has been
successfully granted for a Boston
property.
Lincoln Magistrates Court approved the Premises
Closure Order on 26 September 2018 for a property
in the town’s South End flats.
Evidence was presented by both LHP and
Lincolnshire Police to the court following reports of
anti-social behaviour incidents involving allegations
of drug misuse and suspicious behaviour.
Fully supporting the course of action taken by
Lincolnshire Police, LHP will be taking tenancy
enforcement action against the resident to seek
possession of the property.
This is the second Closure Order successfully
granted in recent months as we continue our tough
stance on anti-social behaviour.
LHP anti-social behaviour manager Susan Sendall
said: “This conduct has had a detrimental effect
on the health and wellbeing of neighbours and the
local community.
“After a catalogue of anti-social behaviour incidents,
we are delighted that Lincolnshire Police have
executed these closure orders, which we have fully
supported.
“We have a joint commitment to protecting people
from harm by working for the benefit of the whole
community.”
