sing on “Tutti Frutti Booty” was a good song for me to sing. It’s a little tongue in cheek, and I do
have a mischievous side! I’ll probably sing a few songs on my next recording.

LL: Can you please tell us about the personnel on Daydreams In Blue?

AG: I play piano. Monster Mike Welch plays most of the guitar on the recording. Walter Trout plays
guitar on one tune. The rhythm section is bassist Michael Mudcat Ward and Jeff Armstrong on
drums. Troy Gonyea adds guitar on three tunes and Peter Ward plays rhythm guitar on one tune.
Scott Arruda on trumpet and Mark Early on saxophone.

LL: The world-wide Coronavirus pandemic has changed the game for all musicians and
releasing artists. How have you adjusted this release and your career to adapt, and what can
your fans do to support you through the pandemic?

AG: This has certainly thrown a wrench into life for literally the whole planet. I had three European
tours cancelled, two Canadian tours, and a whole bunch of festivals and clubs here in the US. I’m
fortunate that I have a roof over my head, and a wife who supports me as an artist. Not always the

easiest thing to do. We all went from making a decent living doing what we love to do (play music),
to nothing … literally overnight. I’m sad for my fellow musicians, the agents, promoters, everyone
working in our industry. I look forward to the day of going back on the road and hugging people.
You can support the artists you like by buying their CD’s/records, and other merchandise. I still
practice and write music every day. Something no pandemic will stop me from doing.

LL: How is your son Todd doing now?

AG: He was in rehab for months learning how to use a wheelchair safely. He is now on his
second prosthetic leg, this one with a computerized knee, and he’s just starting to get used to that,
but it will be many more months before he can actually “walk”. He still loves life, has never
complained about anything. He’s truly an inspiring young man.

LL: What’s coming up for you that your fans can look forward to?

AG: Well, no gigs until next year! I’m working on a weekly “TV” show that is just in its preliminary
stages called “Blue Monday Returns”, with my band, and a special guest from the greater Boston

locale every week. I’ll keep you posted!
